The Advanced Search page permits powerful searching across all metadata fields, including global fields (those which may apply to any resource), and fields that are specific to a selected resource type.

Unlike the Simple Search panel, which searches only resources in the Active state, Advanced Search can be used to look for resources in additional workflow states, depending on your user permissions.

Advanced Search can also search by file attributes such as file size and file extension.
